Ingvi, How have you been. At least your songs get "Under Consideration." I rarely get that far. Have you had any commercial success through Broadjam? I'm busy finishing the songs for my full-length musical, The Kennedys (www.danielwolfmusic.com). Anyway, I hope you're well and send me a missive if you can. I hope to visit Iceland someday to pay homage to Bobby Fisher which I believe is not too far outside Reykjavik, right? Dan Wolf
I'm fine. No commercial success yet to speak of from Broadjam. Wow, a musical! You're busy. Fisher's grave is not so far from Reykjavik. I'm working on an album with vocals in Icelandic, both poems and lyrics, 10 or 12 singers. We'll do an instrumental version as well. Hopefully we'll finish this year.
Congratulations on being selected. I hope to hear some of your music in a movie. Hope to hear from you again. Daniel Wolf
Probably not a movie. Retail, I think. But thanks, Daniel.
There's a line in my new book that says, "Never trust a baby's smile" which of course is ridiculous. Then someone told me babies smile in order to get their diapers changed. So even babies are born with an angle! In other words, trust no one especially in the music business which is all part of the great American dream industry. Hey, how many parents have spent 1000's on their child's singing and dance lessons when it was probably clear that they had no talent? I'm following Mike Brown on YouTube who says the entire Beatles phenomenon was a deception. It's worth looking into. In any event how have you been? I love your summer time song and the singer is fantastic. Hope to hear from you. Dan
Thx Daniel. Great hearing from you. And interesting about baby's smile. Any new comedy performances? I absolutely list it when you quoted Woody Allen. 90% is just showing up and the other 10% is ......!!!!!!
Ingvi, How have you been? If they don't select "The Image of You" they're insane. It's beautiful piece and I love those cool bossa nova chords. Has anything happened to you musically or otherwise since we chatted last? Did I tell you one of my compositions, You Need a Wife (instrumental) will be in a Christmas movie? The movie is called Letters at Christmas which I assume will be out during this upcoming Christmas season. I fear that it's a made for TV movie however. Otherwise, things are fine in Philadelphia except for crime as I'm sure you're aware of. Anyway, I hope to hear from you. Again, one of my bucket list is to visit Bobby Fischer's grave then maybe we can hit a jazz club soon after. Dan
Hi Daniel. - Congratulations on the movie deal. I'm working on an album; Jazz, Swing, Shuffle, Latin, etc.. twelve vocalists, Icelandic lyrics, but we'll have an instrumental version of all the tunes. I decided not to be completely idle while I'm waiting to croak (or shift to the other side). - Purchased your book, But Is He Jewish...and read it. Funny stuff, but being Jewish seems to be a special condition (Woody Allen, Philip Roth, you and other writers), so some of the stories were a bit "out" for my taste, if you know what I mean, but overall fun.
Randall, Is Broadjam still in business? I haven't received any notifications for a week even though I send out a lot of music almost daily. Are you having the same experience? Dan
Thx for the stars on Frostbite Heart (light rock). My son was using my phone to download a few of my songs and he accidentally gave them 5 stars. I don't like it to look like I gave myself 5 stars, my apologies!
Ha- no worries- I do that in error my self sometimes. I always like/appreciate your songwriting.- Thanks for listening/the 5 stars on Yellow Lights. Best, Anthony
Thx. Yellow Nights is a very beautiful song!
Randall, Is Broadjam still in business? I haven't seen any new opportunities for a few weeks. Dan
Yes.
Glad you liked The Snake Song. It's part of my musical, Adam and Eve-the first musical. You can listen to and see videos for all the Adam songs on Broadjam. Anyway, I've lost track of how many "Under Consideration" lists I'm presently on. Hey, so where's the contract? And where's the movie, Letters at Christmas? I'm starting to think Broadjam is a lot of foreplay with no climax. Looks like you're experiencing some success. Am I right?
No placement. Got contract offer "Music of the Sea" but is exclusive. I don't think I'll sign cause it ties up the song for 5 years in case anything better is offered.
Hi Daniel. Wanted to ask if you've signed with these guys or worked with the "Music of the Sea" One of my songs got selected and they offered me a contract but it is an exclusive contract. Seems like it's a library so if I sign it can sit there for years and then. As I understand it since it's exclusive I can't sign the song with anyone else if I'm offered. Just wondering If you have had any experience with them, music of the sea
You would have to get permission from the co-signer to use it elsewhere. I have 2 exclusive contracts with Express Artist and they told me that. In general, I'd stay away from exclusive contracts. How long is the term? Mine are 4 years. After that, it's void.
Hey Daniel - Listened to "Like a Star" - wonderful creation from the "under considers" list - fingers crossed, but it's a great tune notwithstanding! -diane
Diane, Thanks so much for your more than kind words. Actualy, a number of my songs are "Under Consideration" so until I receive a contract I'm not so excited. In fact, one of my songs, You Need a Wife, was chosen to be in a Christmas movie, Letters at Christmas, but I don't believe the movie was released. I'm hoping it will be released next year since it costs 3 million $ to make. Have you had any luck on Broadjam or on other sites? I'm only on Broadjam. I was on Spotify and a few others but nothing materialized. I think I'll just stay with Broadjam. Anyway, let's stay in touch. Maybe a group of us could meet for a beer and we can drown our troubles together. Dan
Hey Dan - I know what you mean about "under consideration" - crossing the fingers - you do that for too long and your fingers start to go kind of numb, eh? But if you do it for the joy of creation, well it's worth it anyway just for that. I hope the Christmas movie ends up getting released. I think a lot of stuff got put on hold from the last crazy period we've all had to endure. And hopefully things are opening up again. I'm on BJ and also Spotify (where I am regularly reminded how few listeners ever come) but you know, you keep going anyways. I started my licensing "career" with a kind of a bang, made good money with a couple good placements, and then phhhht nada - oh well, I still keep pitching and I don't really expect placements but it sure would be nice. I think that's why I like posting stuff here on BJ because you get the feeling that at least some people are listening, and even enjoying. And there's sooo much good music here. Well, keep it up friend, because your stuff is amazing. Truly. - diane
Thx Daniel. I was selected for Frostbite Heart. However I received no email or message from the opportunity after being selected. I also messaged the other lady selected and ditto for her. I even emailed the provider to ask why nobody contacted me-no response.
Randall, at present I'm on 3 or 4 Under Considers and I also haven't received any correspondence. After the never released movie, "Letters at Christmas," I'm getting a bit jaded vis a-vis Broadjam. Of course, I hope I'm wrong but I'm certainly not getting excited when I'm Under Consideration. Nevertheless, I hope Frostbite works out.
Thx Daniel. I hear you. It makes me wonder about BJ providers and what's going on. I was so happy to hear yours getting on that movie- happy for you and happy that it means it is possible to have that happen from BJ. But now I just don't know. I did get on a radio rotation on KPEO radio. It's online radio but international. They played 3 of my songs today and they say I remain in the rotation for random plays. That was not from BJ though. From another Avenue.
Tonight My Love should have been selected. Great song and a superb singer. Dan Wolf
Thanks, Dan. I like your big sound. We are the same age. I've also been involved in lot of things besides music. For 45 years I was an acquisition-librarian at the City Library in Reykjavik. That was my main job. I was a book reviewer for ten years, a music critic (Jazz, AC, etc) for a while (last century), and I've written and published two crime novels and one short story collection.
I think we were separated at birth. We share a lot. Besides musical composition, I've written 6 plays and 5 full-length musicals. I also perform stand-up comedy in the Philadelphia area and recently published a book of Jewish-themed short stories. You can see all of this on my website www.danielwolfmusic.com I've also traveled extensively (taught English in Japan for 10 years), divorced twice, and prefer to see my girlfriend once a month. Unfortunately, I lost quite a few friends due to Convid, but I don't care. We, artists, need little human contact, don't you agree? Anyway, I love your jazz pieces. Do you write alone or do you have a collaborator? As you may know, Irving Berlin couldn't understand how two people could write a song so I hope you also write independently. Anyway, thanks for listening to my stuff. We're going back into the studio to finish The Kennedys score. I'm only afraid that the woke mob will demand that the Kennedys be black.
I listened to your stand-up performances and liked the deadpan attitude. In my catalog are four albums by JJ Soul Band (all on Spotify), JJ or John (from Oxford, UK) was a collaborator; lyrics, vocals and music, although I wrote most of the music. He passed away 2020. I've collaborated with lyricists on my Icelandic albums cause I only sometimes write lyrics. I also like to work with certain producers/arrangers, mostly one who also writes big band music, which leads me to ask: Do you write those big arrangements yourself (and they did seem to be "live")? I guess they are they from the musicals.
I don't do the arrangements. It's done by a man named Ed Etkins who also arranged Adam and Eve-the first musical and David. To be honest, I compose on the guitar and Ed does the full orchestrations from my mistake prone lead sheets. YEs, I enjoy stand-up a lot, but I don't see that going anywhere except as a hobby. Please buy my book (But is He Jewish?) and see how I've incorporated a lot of my routines into short stories. By the way, I Thank Him (rock) was just selected by a company looking for religious tracks and Lost Without You (vocal and instrumental) was chosen by a company looking for blues. Wish me luck. Dan
Your work method is similar to mine. I compose on the piano, provide a demo and a chords sheet (if asked) to the arranger. In JJ Soul Band arrangements were more or less co-work of members of the band. - I haven't had much luck with submissions; a bundle of songs with a publisher that caters to retail, etc., and a bit more. Often had songs "under consideration", but no more. I have already ordered your book. Look forward to reading it. One of my books, The Ninth Step, was translated into English (great translation). You can purchase it (if you like) from Amazon.com. But to read a wee bit about the book (the only review) and the author, you have to check the Amazon.co.uk. But don't buy it from the Brits, it costs way too much in GP (I've written to the publisher about it). I wish you luck with the selected tracks.
How's this for luck? "You Need A Wife" was selected for a movie called Letters at Christmas. In fact, the song was sent to ASCAP in order to receive royalties. Needless to say, "my heart soared like an eagle" (Little Big Man). So I'm waiting all fall and winter for the movie and it was never released! It costs 3 million to make and had a few veteran actors (produced by Dean Kane who was once a Superman). I hope it will be released next winter. Yes, I'll buy your book, and let's agree to comment on Amazon. All I can say is thank God my parents advised me to get a marketable skill(teaching ESOL). I'd certainly suffer had I only decided to be an artist. By the way, one of my heroes is Bobby Fisher. I want so much to visit his grave in Iceland. Do you live near his stone? I hope to visit within the next few years.
I just checked your book. I'm sorry, but I think 35 pounds is a bit too pricy and I prefer not to read it on Kindle. It hurts my eyes after a while.
I hope the movie will be made in the end (with your song in it). But so it goes too often, I guess. My book costs $19.21 on Amazon.com and £8.99 at the publisher's website (https://www.shieldcrest.co.uk/prod uct/the-ninth-step-by-ingvi-thor-ko rmaksson). Just beware of the Brits. I had nearly forgotten about this translated book. But because I mentioned it to you, I contacted the publisher, and it's possible that something will be done to arouse more interest, contact reviewers etc. - I have zero marketing skills, which is quite a handicap when you're the songwriter/publisher/record company, publicist, etc.. I used to write music to modern Icelandic poetry, but not at all in the way of Jazz v/ spoken word or anything arty-farty (and also with "ordinary" lyrics written to some of the songs). It was some jazzy AC with a bit of Latin and Folk thrown in, performed by well known Icelandic singers and musicians, but not quite pop material so the albums didn't sell much, but they are at least all alive and well today on music sites, so I'm not unhappy with my old catalogue. - https://open.spotify.com/artist/0Uj TW7IRziiJv9ufd3Xlpl The instrumentals and some of the the English-vocals tracks have been licensed quite a bit, mostly to compilations aimed at retail. That has happened through Audiosparx.com. Everything they take on is permanent (for ever) non-exclusive publishing. I live in Reykjavik, which is not far from Bobby's resting place; one to one and a half hour drive. I could take you there, no problem.
Ingvi, I will certainly come someday to see you and Bobby's resting place. Poor guy, later in life he became The Flying Dutchman. God bless your country for taking him in in the face of unrelenting US government threats. I also have zero marketing skills. I've spent way too much promoting my book. I have four lovely reviews but unless I get a movie or TV deal I'll continue to make about 2$ a sale. Have to chat later. Today is my mom's first anniversary of her passing. She made it to 97 but my moron brother thinks I killed her because I refused to give her the lethal injection, I mean the vaccine. I certainly hope you didn't take it. Anyway, I'll visit her today. Chat later. Dan
Congratulations on Tango X. I hope it leads to something substantial.
Bobby was quite a character. I didn't know about Tango X Dream. Selected or under consideration?
It was Selected under background instrumentals. Congrats, man!
Yes, I just saw the email a few minutes ago
Thx Derrick for the stars on "Magic of Music". And thx for the listening.
Apparently, the movie was never released. The song was sent to ASCAP but to date, I haven't received any royalties. I can't understand it. The movie costs 3 million $ but it wasn't distributed. I'm hoping it will be released next Christmas season. How have you been? Any musical success?
I am sorry to hear. Me- Frostbite Heart was on podcast and also won song contest. Other then that, no luck.
Thanks for your more than generous rating for my song Seasons (big band). If you notice I have a number of big band pieces. Take a listen to my latest, A World Just as Fine. It's actually the first song from a full-length musical titled, Adam and Eve-the first musical. Thanks, Dan
Hey Daniel, I heard you got a placement in Broadjam. Congratulations!
One of my songs, You Need a Wife, was selected for a movie called Letters at Christmas. It was supposed to be released today, Dec. 1 but so far I see no mention of it. Let me know if you see anything about it. It costs 3 mill. to make so I can't imagine they can't find any distributor. How have you been? Any success recently? Dan
That's great!!!! Well deserved. I'll keep an eye out for the movie and your song!!! Happy for you. Nothing for me yet. Just podcast and couple contracts signed with no placements resulting.
The song was sent to ASCAP but I haven't received any royalties. It doesn't appear that the movie was ever shown in fact. Needless to say, I'm disappointed but not surprised. Success is highly elusive in the music industry.
Are you serious?? That is very disappointing. I don't understand why nobody on BJ gets any placements. I was very evicted to hear yiu did, happy for you, and it gives me hope that it is possible. Now this is disheartening. Makes me wonder what is going on or how legit some of these "opportunities" are.
And I cannot fathom how $3 million spent would just go up in smoke. Makes no sense
Hi Daniel Congratulations, I saw on the news for Broadjam that your song was placed for a Christmas film that is very good news I'm happy to hear that you are the first person on Broadjam that I kind of know who has actually gotten a placement. I was beginning to think nobody really got placements even if their songs were selected including mine. Do you know when the film is coming out or if it's going to be shown on television or how I can go about seeing it? Would you mind terribly if I asked about how much you were getting paid for that? I'm just very curious because again you're the first person on Broadjam that I have interacted with who has actually gotten a placement. It is very well deserved your music is incredibly awesome
I have no idea how much I would receive. I read about royalties and they can go from $500 to as much as $30,000. I'll keep you abreast of developments.
well that is great to hear because I had started to think nobody on Broadjam ever actually gets placed and paid. I googled the movie and I see it on my google search. I hope to be able to view it soon. Can I ask, was this the result of you submitting to the Broadjam opportunity, or was it a "Premium Pitch" submission on Broadjam.
Broadjam opportunity. I tried premium pitch a few times to no avail.
Thx! I am happy for you!!
Your new song is very beautiful and gave me happy feelings.
Aw, thank you so much Randall. To me, that's my whole reason to make music, I'm so glad you enjoyed listening :)
I did. Thx for doing it!
Hi, Randall. How have you been during this HOT summer? I'm in Philadelphia. You? Anyway, music is certainly a tough racket. I did sign 2 contracts (Here You'll Stay, You Need a Wife) but I haven't heard back. Meanwhile, I just published a book. It's called, "But is He Jewish? and Other Quirky Tales." It's on Amazon if you like to purchase it. Musically, I'm instrumentalizing some of my folk songs (Boston, for example) and jazzing up some ballads (Where is My Love?). How about you? Has Spotify helped you? I'm on it but don't give it much attention. I still prefer Broadjam though I sometimes can't believe the songs that are picked especially what they consider rock. I'll be posting a few videos in the next few days. I'll let you know about them once they're posted. Dan
Hi Daniel, you are a writer also? Wow very cool. I'll have to look into that. My sister is also a Writer. you may like her stuff. "Mishigazz and mazel Tov". Funny Jewish humor short stories. Her name is Stephanie Lewis. Hey, I LOVED your comedy routine. The Woody Allen joke was hysterical! I've signed a couple contracts with Broadjam also but so far not seen one dollar in revenue LOL. However a few of my songs of appeared on the women of substance podcast so I guess I've gotten some decent exposure but that's about it. I have some great ideas for comedy myself but I'm not able to do the good delivery like you are. I love to meet you one of these days but I'm never in Philadelphia. If you are ever in San Diego please let me know

Thanks so much. I'll definitely check it out. Please purchase my book of you don't mind. Kindle is only $3.00 if you wish to go that route. Where is your sister located, by the way? Philadelphia I hope. Dan
He's in Reno now. She left California because of the insane political climate here, lol. She is very happy in Reno I'll try to purchase your book it sounds good
Great!
"Just You and Me" another absolutely gorgeous song! I love the intricate guitar work in that. Playing the guitar yourself?
Thanks for the compliment but I did not play on it. Fortunately, I'm surrounded by great guitarists, great singers, and great arrangers. I only presented a simple lead sheet.
Hey Daniel! "Seasons" with the female vocalist Is absolutely gorgeous!!! I saw the video also the song conveys so much feeling I really really loved it. It reminds me of Summer breeze by seals and crofts. You are an extraordinarily talented man!
Thanks so much. I just signed contracts for You Need a Wife and Here You'll Stay. Certainly not counting my chickens however. Is that your wife singing with you on the videos? She has an equally lovely voice. May I suggest you branch out into other genres. Not to boast but I have big band, folk, rock, jazz, and some instrumentals. Perhaps you can make some of your folk songs, for example, big band as I've done with Seasons. Better to have a wide repertoire to meet some of the requests on Broadjam. I work with Morningstar Studios if you're looking for superb recordings.
Hi Daniel. Congratulations on your contract I was curious what company the contracts were with? I got offered a couple exclusive contracts here on broad jam but I turned them down after speaking with some other people Good advice on branching out to different genres. I am in production of one song that's going to be rock genre and sounds more contemporary In the video that is not my wife it is the singer on my songs for wonder boy and several others here on Broadjam. Her name is KaytLynn and she is only 15 years old. She is not related to me I was lucky to meet her a couple years ago and liked her singing a lot Your songs are so awesome they instill a certain feeling when I watch the videos that I can't explain, very powerful! It's like you can feel the love and innocence coming out of the songs, very beautiful. I think you deserve to have your music featured in the film or sink so I hope to hear good things about you over the next months
hey Dan- this is a great idea " it might be a Good idea to list the lyrics, it helps the listener to follow the tune!
Almost all my songs have videos with the lyrics. Thanks for your concern anyway. Dan
Randall, Thanks for your more than generous response to A Wedding Vow and Seasons. I deeply appreciate your feedback. Well, I think you'll agree, the music industry is hard to break into. My songs have been listened to 2,286 times. I did sign a contract for Here You'll Stay however with a Los Angeles company. If I may ask, how do you go about promoting your work other than Broadjam? Actually, those songs are part of full-length musicals but getting a work staged is daunting as you can imagine. You can see my work on my website: www.danielwolfmusic.com and I also have a YouTube channel: Daniel Wolf music and comedy. I have someone make videos for my work. Anyway, I hope to hear from you. I'm in Philadelphia. You? Thanks again, Dan
Hi Dan, really nice to hear from you. I had listened to some of your songs a few months back and really loved them! I also watched some of your comedy. Fantastic stuff!! As for myself, I am pretty new to this. Been writing songs just 4-5 years and I have no musical training just self taught. Anyway I have submitted songs on Taxi Music for their licensing but no luck whatsoever. On Broadjam I was offered an exclusive contract with "Music of the Sea" but I turned it down because then you are stuck with only dealing with them and if they do not get anywhere yiu cannot accept contracts from others. Before that Doug Diamond was working to place "Wonder Boy". Doug Is the "premium pitch" person on Broadjam. I got no updates from him and nothing happened. That was about almost 2 years ago. Most recently "Tinderbox" selected my song Wonder Boy to try to place. They are non exclusive and they claim to work closely with some reality tv shows and so I am hoping something comes of that. So far nothing yet but it has only been a few weeks. I seem to get a song "under consideration" once every week or two but usually it is not selected. That's my story, I think there are lots of other ways to break into sync (getting songs in film, tv etc) but I think it is a full time endeavor. I also get bombarded with people selling programs to us musicians on how to make money in music sync business. I think these people make a lot of money selling their programs but I'm sure there must be some that are worthwhile I just nibble around the edges I am insurance agent and I do well at that. That is most of my time but I hope to get a song placed. It would be super cool! Feel free to message me back. Great to finally hear from you.
Hey Daniel, anybody ever tell you, that you resemble Tony Bennett and the Pro Reviewer on Broad Jam......Christ Keaton?? Toodles, Stay Safe & Sport that Mask!!! The Corey's Looks like we might have connected!! Super Cool!!
Hey Daniel Wolf, listening to "Just You & Me"-Big Band, great Band sound, is that a real Group of Live Players, it sounds very cool!! 5 Stars & Likes..... Toodles, Stay safe & Sport a Mask! The Corey's............. Don't forget.............Let's connect!
I appreciate that. We're going back in the studio to do a big band of Seasons. My orchestrator and I love the big band era. We hope it makes a comeback.
Hey Daniel Wolf, just heard your composition, "Seasons", gave it a 5 Stars & Likes. Suggestion, it might be a Good idea to list the lyrics, it helps the listener to follow the tune! Say, would love to be Broad Jam Buddies and connect, if you are interested?? Think we have some tunes, that you might enjoy. We'll leave the computer on tonight, just in case you feel the need to connect? Toodles, The Corey's
You can check out all my work on my Youtube channel: Daniel Wolf music and comedy. Each song has lyrics which I mention when I send it out on broadjam. Any luck on Broadjam. I signed a contract with one west coast company for Here You'll Stay.
Hey Daniel, is One West Coast Company a Publishing firm or Library?? Sadly enough......We have never had any luck placing our tunes on Broad Jam!! Bummer! Toodles, The Corey's.............
The company is called Expressive artists. It's a 4-year contract but nothing has come of it so far. Needless to say, I'm getting disillusioned with the music business. I'll soon have 50 music videos and can't get a bite. I've just about exhausted 500 credits. For example, I get a request for a city song so I send Boston. Nothing happens. I'll continue to send my work out but I'm not expecting much if any response. How about your experience?
Zip, Crickets.....that's all we are getting also!! Don't give up Sir!! I would try some other platforms though!! The Corey's...........
Hey. I really love that song "Freedom". Very unique and pleasing to the ear. Shades of Jethro Tul? Congratulations on your sing bring selected! Well deserved
Apparently the word freedom has a bad connotation these days. It seems everyone enjoys being controlled especially with regard to convid restrictions. Still, I continue to shop it. I appreciate your endorsement. I have an amazing team behind me. You can see all my work on my YouTube channel: Daniel Wolf music and comedy. Thanks, Dan
Yes. I agree the Covid restrictions are absurd!
I am now a subscriber on your YouTube! Love your stuff. Your comedy stand up is awesome too! I see you signed a contract for your music. Any luck? I got offered a couple, one recently from "music of the sea" but I did not sign. It is 5 year exclusive contract. So locks me out of any other contracts for 5 years.
My contract with Expressive Artists (Here You'll Stay) is also exclusive but EA told me to simply inform them if another company has an interest in Here You'll Stay. Anyway, I'm certainly not quitting the day job as I can see that the music industry is highly competitive (and probably corrupt). Thanks for looking at my comedy. I enjoy that a lot. Are you in the Philadelphia area? If so, I can tell you where I'll be performing stand-up. Hope to hear from you. Dan
Hi Dan, I am in San Diego. The only time I was in Philadelphia was when I was much younger and I qualified for the Macabee Games tryouts (I did not make the team). If I am ever out there again I will surely look you up. Good to know your "exclusive" would allow you to get out that easily. That would make me reconsider an exclusive offer. I've been trying for the non exclusives. Stay safe
Magnificent.
Just a suggestion. I love the Wonderful Day song but I think it would work better with Lovely Day. Wonderful Day seems too jumbled.
By the way, I composed You Need a Wife on the same list I found your song.
thank you for taking the time to comment on my song! All the best to you.
Thanks. Needless, to say I'm extremely jealous of all you've accomplished.
Hi again, I am thinking that one of my talented co-writers resides in Philadelphia and is involved in many of the same types of music as you are (including comedy and musical theater) and you might be interested in working together and networking. Send me your email address and I will pass it on to him. My email is inthepinkmusic@cox.net I'm always trying to be a "match maker" in some way or another. All the best, Sandy Sherman
Very nice...
Thanks, Barry. Adding a few more instruments this weekend. I'll send it to you when complete.
Thanks. 537 plays on this site. How much money have I made? ZERO!
The melody is simply wonderful and vocals are phenomenal, Great work.
Thank you for the kind words... truly appreciate it !
I love Sentimental Fool. I hope Broadjam chooses it (as well as one of mine too). Did you write the lyrics? Very clever. Anyway, I'm now a big band enthusiast and I think it's important to carry on the tradition. I have quite a few big band pieces as well. I would certainly appreciate if you could listen to a few. Two are from one of my musicals-Adam and Eve (You Need a Wife, A World Just as Fine). By the way, ever get into the Philly area? Love to pick your brain over a Philly cheesesteak. Dan
Hello Daniel- Thank you for your thoughts on Sentimental Fool. I wrote most of the lyrics and had a little help from friends I was on vacation with. It was a very fun exchange of ideas... I love the big band era! Hope you get selected as well! Michael
