well...my Christmas in Town just won the finalist in Song of the Year.
Hey ya'all, check out my song "Runaway"...it's number 1 on Michigan top ten. It's the only female vocalist song I ever wrote...
well...Honky Tonkin' tonight is back in the top ten.. Ive submitted this song several times and nothing from the providers??
really like your music.
Thank you so much! I just listened to your song More of Me. Really great song! Thanks for connecting :)
Dianne...we haven't made contact for several years and I have recently written a song for a woman to sing...I'm not sure how to do this since i've never done this before. I'll soon be at the studio to record a couple of songs and the have suggested a local studio singer. If I have them put a voiceless track of the music, would you like to hear it? Possibly see what your great style could do with it? Let me know..I'm at c.j.miller9019@att.net
Hi CJ, thanks so much for reaching out. I'll send you an email. ðŸ'Š
Enjoyed Honkytonkin! P.
Thank so much for you review and notes on B 10. Half A Life Ago ft. Leslie Sahlen. Very much appreciated. Jay

I'm just being honest..its a very good song..thanks

But thank you for the review..it was great! Take care and best of luck...C.J.

Sam..hey buddy ..thanks for the great review of Hogjaw and Willie. You have a lot on your plate so a glowing review from you is very up lifting. Thanks again.
Much obliged! Peace!
Hey CJ Miller, you just reviewed our tune, "Downtown Matinee" and gave it a pretty favorable review...Thanks! Went to your site and listened to "Honky Tonkin' Tonight", Gave you 5 Stars & Likes. It's says in your Bio, that you play all the instruments on the recording. There is steel, fiddle, drums on the tune and you played all those instruments on the composition?? Wowza......they sound really Great Sir!! Excellent Job!! Love to connect with you as a Broad Jam Member?? Happy Trails, The Corey's
I'm sorry to mislead you.. The bio was done before the last two songs..Christmas in town and Honky tonkin were recorded by studio musicians in Nashville. In the bio I refer to the fact that guitar pedal bass vocals drums and harmonica. Are recorded at same time. By me. Same as I play on clubs...after recording that..u may take over dubs for harmony or other instruments ..but while playing live or recording..I'm playing the basic four.
Enjoyed your "Hogjowl" and your great bio! Love old school! I'm 70 but still burnin it down! Catnip
Thanks Pat. ...I'm at the seven 0 too and playin every week
Thanks for a great review of BECAUSE IT'S THERE (featuring Tim Buppert). You may find it interesting because of your constructive comments that there was no chorus effect on those backup vocals at all. Tim just happens to be one of the best singers in Nashville and those vocals were quite genuine. Thank you again!
Well ...it did sound like multi voice chorus
LOL! I don't use chorus very often, but I'm not above that kind of thing at all.
Lol...me too .but so many recording artists use them that they all start to sound alike ..its nice to hear someone real voice
He's one of my favorite demo singers and a great musician, too.
Thanks for the good review of Honky Tonkin tonight. You are right about the vocals being a little stressed..whole song was recorded in one take. But thanks for your comments...C.J.
C.J., Thanks for the review of "Semi-Sweet". It's a ten year old recording I wrote for a NSAI contest. Country isn't my normal musical genre so I always appreciate input from those who make it theirs. Bill
good song, well written. With your insights country would be a good place for your talents.
Awesome song!!
Thank you ..I appreciate your support so much.
My new photo is just that...me after a long night on stage.
Wow awesome song
Thank you for your review.
Lots of good news Dianne! Congratulations..How exciting to have your song featured in a film :)
Thank you Penny! It's nice to be a part of the indie film experience. We're all trying to express ourselves one way or another. The film touches on some serious but common issues. If I can incite a particular emotion successfully I am most happy. :)
You certainly can and do incite particular emotions and very well...I am certain there will be many more placements for you...Happy to hear this news :)
Congratulations Dianne! So very exciting, and so very well deserved!
Thanks so much you two! ;)
Congrats:)
Hello Dianne, We are not connected and and I know you don't know me so I feel kinda weird sorta like I'm eavesdropping on your conversation. I'm familiar with your work and aware of the incredible potential it has. Obviously so did the film maker. Anyway I just thought that your being included in a films soundtrack is quite a milestone of achievement and certainly praiseworthy. I wanted to add my voice to the crowd shouting out a big Hoorah and Bravo to you. Kind regards........................ kenney
Such cool news, Diane!! All the best:))
*" Dianne" ;)
Hi Kenney, thank you so very much, your kind words are very much appreciated!! It means a lot coming from you. I'm a big fan of your work. Julia, Thank you!! So nice to see you at the top of the leaderboard in the six-pack!!
And thank you Nathaniel!! Hope all is well with you and yours!! :)
The boy ate a spider yesterday... Other than that, pretty good:) Hope you're well yourself. Hows your restaurant coming along?
Thanks Dianne!!;))
Ha! Good protein! All is well and it's going great, thanks!!
Congratulations Dianne...I haven't been on in a while, so its good to hear your doing good !
Thanks C.J.! Hope all is well with you! It has been a while!
Donovan, I just listened to "The Yellow King" and I have to tell you that I have never heard a more beautiful composition....it's perfect. I listen and all my mind can see is a tired, dusty Louis L'amour cowboy riding across a vast desert with the heat waves blurring the scene....but that is my interpretation of this beautiful, beautiful composition. Thank you for making it happen. CJ
CJ - thanks for the 5 stars and the comments. I had in mind Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider or one of his old westerns when I came up with it . It turned out better than I imagined, thanks to Mike's playing and production.
Julia..Thank you so much for the great rating you gave "and I just can't stop loving you"...everyone has a broken heart love song...this one was mine. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. C.J. Miller

Thanks again...CJ
Nashville Joe...that was a very great review you did on my song," Honky Tonkin' Tonight"...I did not even get a notification from BJ that you reviewed it. I was scanning around and found your comments listed next to the song. Great surprise! Your experience in music carries a lot of weight in them community and I really appreciate your great comments. Thank You, CJ
my song--I WAS BORN IN KENTUCKY--thanky for the great review--it is one of my personal favorites--thanky--C.J.---nj.
The star of Jura is one of the most beautiful compositions I have ever heard, being a Captain myself, the thought of this song being played a a new ship slides down her ways for the first time, really touches my heart....great stuff Dave!!!
Cheers C.J. it is the title track off my new CD and seems to go down well with our audiences when we play it live
Hey Diane, Do you use Logic or Garage Band? Chet
Hi Chet, I use Audacity. :)
I hope your feeling better Don. I'll be thinking of you in my prayers.
?????????
You should upgrade to an MBox so you can record and send me sessions:) I believe it has two inputs and a pretty good I/O for the price. May open up a whole new world to you. You could mic up that piano you've got:)
MBox? I have an interface. Is that what you mean? :)
Nope, actually MBix is a ProTools starter system. I use Logic Studio, a professional digital recording program for Mac. I use Apogee interfaces. Fabulous sound from them. I asked about GarageBand because, if you had it ... I could send you a basic track to use and you can DropBox it back to me. I can then migrate/merge it in Logic. There are other ways to pass stuff back and forth. I am working on a song now where your voice as a duet would be sweet. Surprised you are not a Mac person. Garage Band is a very good system and easy to use. I teach people Hoya to use it and Logic....I'll be in touch about the song. Hope all is well..... Chet
Mac forever:)
Sounds great Chet, thank you for thinking of me. This Mac uses a PC unfortunately. :)
Save your dough....and get a Mac of some sort...... {:?D
Happy Halloween...for all you people that write better songs than me...I hope all that candy makes you fat!!....but you'll still write better songs than me :( Love ya all...CJ
Al, thanks so much for the great review of my song,"and I just can't stop loving you", your comments were greatly appreciated. CJ
