hi Thanks Chris for the nice review of Rich Man. we appreciate it. cheers
Hi Chris, Nice to meet you! Thanks so much for the thoughtful review of my song, "Backstage". It was written back in 1973. So, it is kind of a folk-Americana tune. I found 4 old tapes that had over 200 songs on them. Most were just guitar-vocal or piano-vocal demos. So, on top on an already feverous writing schedule, I am producing these old songs. I will probably finish when I'm 120! Hee-hee! I'm just glad we were able to bake and cedarize the tapes and save them so we could make one digital collection pass. Back when I was touring, during the days, I sat in my motel rooms and wrote tons of songs..... Anyway, won't bore you with that. Did you ever meet Dylan? I knew him back in the 70's. We met at the Bitter End in NY when I was opening for Linda Ronstadt. Very interesting and thoughtful gent. I think we got along because we had the same sarcastic sense of humor. Anyway I'm now in the state below you. When I get home, I'm gonna check out your songs. I have about 200 posted at Broadjam... Stop by and enjoy one or two more ... Best Chet Nichols
Hi Chris, Thanks for such a great review of The Elephant In The Room. Love your track Evelyn best song I've heard on Broadjam for a long time. Keep the songs coming. Cheers Laurence
well heck man, i just listened to most of your tunes, and see that I REVIEWED a few! hope i wasn't to much a stickler for minor things, but hey, you are one talented dude! stay on course, that you pluckin' the ivories? well done sir, well done! WH
damn man! another stellar review from you on Dead Man Walking--and your comments on the vocals of both of mine you reviewed are valid, but since i sung both of those a coupla years back, and i'm 63 now, well, i'm lucky they came out that good...LOL...and your bass line comments on both songs is a valid one--especially since my producer is a BASS player, we both have to consciously tone him down sometimes...LOL...but now to listen to some of YOUR songs...your comments are spot on and you know what the hell you're talking about! cheers, Warren Hein
hey Chris many thanx for your review of Antennae, Cable or Satellite, humbled by your positive words man, and on the harmony line idea and the synth stuff, well that's just my producer doing what i told him...LOL...i didn't want to crowd the message with any harmony on this one, but i get what you mean...again, thank you for REALLY taking the time to listen and your suggestions very valid--we don't always get that here, all the best, Warren Hein

How cheap???? a friend in music...Delta
The lyrics are so strong they read like a poem. My grandmother is from Harlan Kentucky so that reference has a special place in my heart. Very cool Delta.

Chris, "Get Well Soon" is a great tune and the Dylanesque style is well received by this guy who, like Earl Webb, grew up listening to him. Bill
Appreciate it Bill. It's a relatively older song for me but I think its holding up nicely. I'll be putting some more stuff up as I record, Im sure you'll enjoy the Dylan influence across the board.
Chris, Thanks for the review of "Northern Climes". Appreciate your comments. Bill
Chris, thanks for your kind and complimentary review of my song: I'LL SHOW HIM WHO'S WHO. Take care, Sylvia
Nice song... the Dylan influence is obvious, but I grew up on him so it gets a 5 stars from me
