Great Ben. with lovely voice and brilliant songs
Many thanks, Steve - much appreciated. All the very best. Ben
Love all your stuff.
Ben, Always a pleasure to listen to your songs. Being of Irish descent makes me partial to Celtic music and you are a true master of the art. I attempt it on my song Heaven Knows, but it pales in comparison to Ronan Isn't Phonin' Anymore. I can thoroughly relate to Writing a Song for You. It's hardest to write for the ones we love the most. All the best. Tom
You have some very cute songs! Of course they're great tho...youre Irish after all ;) ~GP
Thanks, Miles! Much appreciated! All the very best Ben www.bensands.com
NP! Check out my tracks when you get a chance! ~GP
Love "The Navigator", Thom - congrats, a great song ... but what else would I expect? Very best wishes Ben Sands
I just listened to your song "Good to be Home". Very nicely done! I visited Ireland in June of 2009 and I understand your sentiment. It's a grand place that I hope to get back to again someday. Best of luck.
Many thanks, Tom - Ireland is home for me and likely always will be, however far and often I ramble from her shores! All the very best to you! Ben

I wanted to download "When Did I Stop" but you don't have it available to buy. Is there a reason? Maybe you can have Broadjam make it available for purchase...
Really sorry about that. The reason is that it is part of the new CD that we are working on we have still three tracks to add BUT I will go to page and make sure that it is available to download for you. take care George L. Goodfellow (George@glgband.com)
Got it! Thank you so much! Best always with your music...

Ben I reviewed you yesterday and some times you think you know who you are listening too, and this time I was wrong......but I surely did in joy your song. I live and have lived in places where there is grate Irish music played for many to enjoy and you can come here any time. There is always a place for great Irish music. If not for the Irish the Erie canal of New York and the city of Savannah Georgia would not have been built.......Best to you in music......Delta
Many thanks, Delta - glad you enjoy Irish Music in all its many forms and incarnations! all the very best to you! Ben

HI again, Delta! Thanks for your review of "The Japanese Hornpipe" -great! Much appreciated! Another Hug from Ireland! Ben www.bensands.com
Your welcome and thanks for the Hug. I was out today and picked up an old album of The Flying Column/Four Green Fields and in it there is a medley with "Bold Fenian Men" which I think is my "Down by the Glenside" and it states it is from the 1798 Rising in Wexford. Just an FYI I think I spoke of it last time. I love it when I get a ?mark answered. Have a great evening and if you keep putting up music on Celtic world I always go there 1st......Delta

Wow! Love the choice of names - including your own! You might be related to a couple of quite famous Manchester Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, better known as Oasis ... all the very best, Ben
would be nice, I hope to one day work more on my line and find out what part of Ireland we came from.... If you get a chance maybe you can give a listen to my Down by the Glenside it was just put up yesterday...regards Delta
Ben I was just reading in a book about St Finian's Bay and it has to do with an Irish revolt and sad to say I am not up on my Irish history but I thought how strange I should have recorded Down by the Glenside which maybe what my book is talking about....funny that!... I find I have things circle back around me like that, how strange Don't know why I needed to say this to you but there it is......Have a great day....Delta

Every time I write a blind review and hear a song that is one of the brightest songs of my day, I finish making my comment and submit and up comes Ben Sands. This time was Farewell to the town, completely instrumental and again rated highly and surprise it's you. I guess I'm really a fan whether I know it or not.
Hi Julie ... greetings from Ireland ... many thanks for the review of Belfast Mountains ... indeed it is a Trad Song recorded by me quite a while ago. All the best with your own fine music! How is the music scene in BC? Ben www.bensands.com
The scene out here is getting better than a few years back - for your style, you should check out the Rogue Folk Club regular shows at St. James Community Hall. http://www.roguefolk.bc.ca/ 1
Thanks, Julie! All the very best with your Music- maybe our paths will cross one of these days! Ben www.bensands.com
