while every review is not necessarily agreed to, nor do I say thank you often enough for the time members take to review and comment on the music found here at Broadjam, I am ever grateful and thank you for supporting other members with your reviews, playlists and five-star ratings.
Ditto and amen!
Some people will not be happy with some reviews this morning, LOL. Some of the music I heard was just not that good and then others were totally awesome.
Peter, I would like to take it back. That song did NOT need to have a harp on it. No more reviews while binge drinking. Your friend in mus..umm I'll quit while I'm ahead. Alan
Alan - I have to admit. Never imagined you as a harp aficionado. Good luck on the binges! Are you still just a little "Tipsy"?
I always have a few Harps before I lend an ear. What's wrong with that? It always makes my own stuff sound better!
Right between extreme and way too good! Keep 'em coming, Alan!
I appreciate your comments just a little bit. :)
I've had enough close calls to not get too excited like I used to, but I submitted this song to a publisher before I left for lunch and it's ON HOLD. Crossing fingers - Really appreciate your comments and advice and inspiration.
Arms Wide Open Tonight that is. Now off to scrape up broken tiles from where I left the umbrella up on the deck ... Turn off grill, CLOSE UMBRELLA or table tries to fly.... rrrrr
Congrats Alan ! I'd love to hear the words "on hold". If anyone deserves it, its you brother. Your stuff is too good not to get cut.
LOL!! Finger's crossed and some good ole' prayers over to ya, Alan!!;)))
thanks you two, really appreciate it. Got a fun one finishing up any day and can't wait for you two to hear it
Mildly, Can I Get Your Number really rocks! Excellent use of lyrics and rhythm! Your number is 1....with a bullet!
Thanks a million, Glad you liked it..and thanks for vote of confidence..means alot! Cheers Milly
Woo-hoo! That is destined for those Nashville cats. Shop it, girl! Super tune. Hey, Greg Lambert, I could have sworn that was you singing this tune. Had to jump over to Milly's page and check the credits. I think you have a clone!!!
Why thank you kindly for that...God wouldn't that be great, we live in hope!!!! As for vocals, we on occasions use the same producer who does the vocals...or do you sing some of your tunes too Greg????..God please correct me if I'm wrong! Cheers Milly
I croak out a few...the ones that call for a low, gravely voice! That's Phillip Moore on Can I Get Your Number and Ride On. Good ear, Jo Ann!
Milly - fantastic and yeppers it really rocks - and, yeah, wonered if that was Lambert doing the vocal.
What a good song!!!
Gee whiz, Greg, I really thought it was you singing on Ride On and on Can I Get Your Number. Bad habit I have always had: I always left the movie theatre before the credits rolled to beat the crowd!
Now I feel like you've seen the man behind the curtain!
REVEALED - Lambert Lampooned - Full Story (when we have one). . .
I really sound like Cyndi Lauper. As far along as we think we are, it's still something I'm forced to keep relatively quiet.
This is hilarious! I think I get the prize for really stirring up this pot of soup! Be on the lookout for Greg's next blues hit: "Da Man Just Wanna Have Fu-un."
Ya'll are crackin' me up here!!!, and Milly, great song with a great hook!!:)))) and I want to hear Greg sing that Cyndi Lauper tune!!!!
Oh My..Went to bed last night blissfully unaware of what was unravelling, woke up this morning and man this has really cracked me up..whoops sorry if I outed you Greg!! I too would love to hear you sing a Cyndi Lauper tune..Pretty please. On another note thank you all for the 5 stars, playlists and words of encouragement on the new song! Cheers Milly
I'll sing Time After Time if Cyndi covers Give Me Back My Mojo! (or if ANYONE covers ANY of my tunes!)
okay - printed out your songlist and threw a blanket over the pages. consider your songs covered. NEXT!
Greg, I think that if you put your own spin on Time After Time, it could be a really nice rendition! I'm on board to hear it too:-)
Ha Peter! I didn't know that it was that simple; gee, we all could have our tunes covered! Print and throw a blanket over mine too............please!?
do you one better - take your ten favorite; print them out; lay them on top of a navigational chart of the Earth and in the order you favor. now, you dominate the Top Ten Earth Chart.
Ha great idea peter..Love it...to start I am going to get a navigational map of Ireland and do my top ten, after all its only a small place with 4 million people in it!!!...baby steps Camilla Baby Steps!
oh Just noticed my comment..in case you are wondering "Camilla" is me!!! I rather Milly though!
OK, done...mixed, mastered and posted. #1 in the Parallel Universe! Check it out if you dare!
Oh excellent idea! This also is in line with a "dream board", if anyone is hip to those. In other words, putting down exactly what one wants to materialize, with images, words, expectations, etc, to help the mind "go there" subconsciously and make dreams come true; I'm on it........
Thanks, Cyndi...please share the results! I hear the Bizzaro Universe is almost completely untapped! And thanks, Peter, for expanding our parameters!
"Bizarro" - really? (BTW: spell check) and, coming from a songwriter. . . . pshaw . . . .
Sory...
LOL!!!!!!!!!!
There is enough material here for a Broadjam reality show ... just sayin' !!! Hey, Roy, are you listening?!!!
Yes and then some!!!!!:)))))))
This thread began with my addressing Milly as MILDLY, so it's no wonder we've taken a few twists and turns on the highway of reality!
Lol.. Would you look at that.. Well that's a first for me...I'm serious cracking up here..thank you for making me laugh today everyone.. From your broadjam friend Mildly Milly!!!!!
art imitates life and, in converse life imitates art hey, Jo Ann - this is the Reality Show (gone viral)

TBT (throw back thursday) at Broadjam: a track I pulled from the professor's "WayBack Machine" http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=78064&mediaID=605507&pg=2 1
Wow.
Very nice Peter; very sweet!
I really enjoyed this TBT! You know, the vocal has a touch of old-world charm somehow. Beautiful!
Cool Peter. Miss the sound of the chorus pedal on what sounds like a stratocaster . Nice !
Alan, Cyndi and Jo Ann - THX for the playlist adds and stars. Donovan - it was a Telecaster with custom pick ups played thru a Roland stereo amp with chorus.
INCREDIBLE PETER!!!! Soo heartfelt and tender!! Loved the chord changes!!! And your vocals always cut straight to the heart..... Wow!! Thank you! You are famous in my book!!!:)))

Alan, Just wondering if you had heard anything from the publisher on the Trace Adkins opportunity? I have not. but then, it's only been 6 months since we were Selected . . . Hank Thomas
Nope. Not the only one though - My free membership expires in May and that is likely the time to hang up BJ. Hope all is well your way! Got a new one finishing up any week and I'll upload it when its ready. Probably my last one for a while (produced anyway)

Congratulations Donovan; fabulous news! You deserve the best!
Couple of things - 1. Honored to have written or co-written all the tracks on Michael Lusk's debut album. If you want a signed personalized physical CD for the holidays as a gift for your friends etc, you can message me here for details. $15 will get it to any address in the US. 2. We just started production on a song I am super stoked about..its a song inspired so much by Peter Olach's harmonica on his Fox in the Hen House, he's getting writer cred on it :) Hope to have it up here for you by Christmas. Thank you ~Alan
Message me on where to mail the check.
Hell yeah thx Brian.
I entered my demo buddy Jay Speight on songwriter universe's best vocalist of the month (Nov) for his vocal on "I Found You". I didnt tell him I entered him. The guy called me from L.A. tonite to tell me that Jay won ! How cool is that? He'll get a nice writeup and a little pub. I love it! He is one of the nicest people Ive ever met
Well deserved.
