Hi, Bradley. Very nice atmospheric, silky, meditative and electronic mood on "Slow Ride." I took your advice on "Raindrop Soul," cut out a bit of lows on the drums, plus added a 20 hz high pass on the master and cleared up some space...sounds better. Thank you for the insightful review with something I could use! John

John,

I do find the low end to be problematic at times. It is usually a good practice to cut under 50Hz on most instruments. Not a lot of useful information below 50Hz. I'm glad you found this information useful.

Sincerely,

Bradley

Hey Bradley, You get it. I build song beds to be Top Lined.... That particular song you previewed is a tension cue..... But, I have lots of songs that needs a voice.......Before we get into that part of it....lets get to know each other a bit.....I've been doing this forever. I have publishers in place. My main publisher is AudiosparX and RadiosparX. They have our music playing in shopping malls around the world and over 100 Internet Radio Stations..... Not making a ton of $$$$ but the quarterly statements are steadily growing....I've read your page and I get the feeling you are serious..... If interested we can discuss.. Thanks Marvin

Marvin,

I liked the tension cue. I have some experience writing lyrics and vocals on top of orchestral pieces. I usually start a song with a melody, then add lyrics. I have many different voices and sing in many different styles. My vocal register is Bass to Falsetto. I am a writer first and foremost, and I have many story ideas. I love cinematic music and I am working on some original scores. I am open to writing and recording some lyrics and vocals for your music. I work from home, and I live in my studio. I never stop making new music. I have hundreds of songs. Thank you for listening. I hope we can collaborate on some some beautiful music in the near future.

Regards,

Roaming Sage

I see you found 2 of my songs... "All I Have to do is Dream" and my "Summertime"classic
Really hard on "Dream" it is all I wanted from the song... I do this for pleasure and not looking to sell it.. all just fun for me... I know we all hear things with different ears and genre likes... my verbrato is natural...and "Summertime" is from Porky and Bess the first American opera... when I was a teen I could sing it the original key which was really high... not anymore... I also recorded this as a contemporary song...
I see you are new and if you don't like a song you are listening to and reviewing you can pass instead of leaving 1's behind... we are all family here so welcome and I am always a friend in music Delta🎶🎶🎶

Sorry if I offended you. I am a producer and artist, so I listen to and write a ton of music. I don't give 5 stars for anyone really, unless I really love the song. I will take your advice and skip the songs, I I can't give a 4 or a 5. Also, it wasn't a bad recording. I will try to be more empathetic as well. Thank you, and enjoy the journey!

Your ok, I learned the hard way myself, been on this journey a long time...my producer is an old rocker who worked around The Who, Rick Tyler and was offered a guitar position with the lead singer of the Animals... we have been together working for almost 20 years...
I gave a listen to a couple of your songs. When ever I see a new reviewer I like to know where they are coming from so I give a listen. Pleasant sounds...
I remain a storyteller and a friend of music 🎶🎶🎶Delta

Thanks for listening. I have a lot more to share. I meant to say, I have a hard time giving my own songs 4 or 5 stars. Stay true to the story, thank you!

We are always harder on ourselves, if you are a good artist you are never satisfied with what you have done, you know you could have done better... true to the life of an artist🎶🎶🎶🎶and your welcome.

Hi again Bradley,
Thanks for the review of "It's Your Attitude". Your thoughts on the more/better panning and the 80's are spot-on. That was the first song I ever recorded using Pro Tools so I was on a fairly steep learning curve regarding mixing and production... and I still have much to learn!

I wrote that in the 90's but have always been influenced by the 80's, so no surprise on that one.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen and commenting.

Be well,
Frank

I do understand the learning curve. It comes with each new instrument you learn. DAWs are instruments too. We get better at them with time and use. It's like muscle memory when you play guitar and piano, or breath memory when playing a wind instrument. The wind instruments build muscle memory too. Every day is a chance to get better at something.

Hi Bradley,
Thanks so much for the review of my song "Breathless".

I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment on it. I know that it's a really short piece, but thanks for listening and providing positive feedback!

I'll check out some of your music.

Be and stay well,
Frank
