"Chinese Happy" has meant several things over the past five years. What started out as an attempt to raise awareness for the plight of the Tibetan people and their government in exile has been falsely labeled "racist", "uninformed", and "liberally offensive". Nowadays "Chinese Happy" means but one thing - PEACE. I came upon this conclusion when I was talking with a good friend of mine, who when I asked her how she was doing replied "I'm not unhappy...I guess I'm Chinese Happy." I replied "what?" and she said "China's far away. And so is my happiness. I'm not about to fly across the world to go looking for it, but it's there...it's just far away. That gives me peace" You can take this to mean any number of things, but it's an excellent definition for our band.
