Bone of Contention is a Los Angeles based independent rock band noted for a raw but refined sound with experimental and dark overtones. BOC transcends any one musical genre, however elements of prog, pop, space rock, and even a smidgen of acid jazz permeates their eclectic but unique sound. The front-to-back listening experience of an entire album may be a lost art in today's digital streaming world, but this one is definitely an exception.
