I have been songwriting for over thirty years and have over 300 songs. I sang professionally for a while before starting a family and music took a back seat for a while. My children are growing fast and I found the muse to write songs again. I have recently taken a music technology course to improve my production techniques and passed the Logic Pro 101 exam, although I still have a lot to learn.
I have reached a point in my life where 4 song books full sat on the shelf gathering dust, it was about time I got them out there and took a chance, I've written in a variety of different styles having a broad taste in music helps. I love writing songs to some of the briefs in Broadjam, just to see if I can. My next step is to network and find other artist with similar tastes to share inspirations and thoughts. Shirah xx
