Scott Tournet is known for being the frontman for Elektric Voodoo, a founding member of Grace Potter & The Nocturnals (2003-2014), a solo artist, and producer.  With The Nocturnals he was a co-writer on 3 Top 40 albums and scored a gold record for the song “Paris”. 


    In addition to his work with EV and the Nocturnals, Scott has written and recorded with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), Willie Nelson, T Bone Burnett, Kenny Chesney, Alison Krauss, Mark Batson (Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys, Eminem) and others.  He has performed with The Allman Brothe

Scott Tournet has lived a lot of stories. He grew up on a dirt road in rural Vermont with no electricity. He went to a clothing optional college with no grades. After college, he drove across the country by himself with a tent and a guitar. He co-founded Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. He’s played with The Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule, Bob Weir, Billy Gibbons, Robert Plant, etc., performed for President Obama, written and recorded with Dan Auerbach, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, earned a gold record, played Letterman, Conan, Leno, Ellen, etc., Lollapalooza, Rock in Rio in Brazil, Fuji Rock in Japan, Farm Aid. During a tour of football stadiums across the United States opening for Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney, Tournet became disillusioned and stepped away from the band he helped build at the height of their success.
