The singer is from a small town in Northern Ireland. From an early age she has been performing and began writing music at the age of 14.
With the aid of her parents love for 80's rock music she quickly became infatuated with the artform. As a result of this early influence, she integrated in her own style, resulting in her unique mixture of a rock and modern pop sound. Nova is strongly influenced by 'The Cranberries', 'P!nk', 'Paramore', 'Roxette' 'The Cardigans', 'Radiohead', and 'Fleetwood Mac'. Her sound includes three distinctive elements: powerful vocals, a blend of grunge guitars and an eerie atmosphere.
Her music is very emotive, and listeners can expect to hear songs that echo mental health topics. Nova's overall aim is to create music that others can relate to and enjoy. She has currently released her second single, 'Slumber' and is working on an upcoming EP.
