Born in Park Slope Brooklyn, New York, Bander (Zachary Kern-Schnall) is a Producer, Composer, DJ, Engineer, Vocalist and Instrumentalist. Specializing in Keyboard and Drums during his high school years in Los Angeles, he returned to NY after high school to pursue business and begin the steps of upgrading a home studio to become a professional industry producer..

It was Fall 2005 when Bander returned to Los Angeles to professionally pursue his career in music/production. He was later accepted to the world-renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. It was there where he solidified his craft through advanced music production, DJing and vocal courses as well as an intensified course in piano/composition training. He studied under critically-acclaimed producer, Valente Bertelli, who graduated him with honors. Later, Bander assisted on the music for the film Day After Tomorrow, as well as multiple recording sessions under Dino Herman, President of Sculptured Music, in their state-of-the-art studio in Beverly Hills. He also composed and produced the original score for the film "The Hunch", a project attached to Robert DiNero and Van Epstein Films.

In 2006, Bander started Bander Productions Ltd. as a personal/professional outlet for his artistic endeavors. After only 3 short years Bander Productions signs a deal with Bug Music/Windswept. His deal with Bug Digital gives his music worldwide distribution. Later Bander is given an opportunity to Remix a track entitled "Flat Foot" by world-renowned producer Martin Clancey. He was also the only Bug Digital artist to be featured on volume I & II of the Kaleidoscope artist compilation albums. While Bander has experience in a wide spectrum of musical genres, including hip-hop, pop, down-tempo, house/electronica, film scores (etc), Bander has been actively pursuing his own interests in house music production/DJing, while also producing vocals/beats for artists in several genres. Currently it is hard to find DJs who produce their own music, and conversely producers who DJ - especially at the level that Bander has elevated to in recent years.

I listened to your list this morning and thanks for posting excellent music. Very interesting electronic style. Excellent grooves with captivating melodic rhythms as well. I especially like "First Movement". Great piece of work.

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked it. I have tons of other music I am uploading today and taking advantage of the half off submissions today. Do you think I have a shot at getting some licensing deals with the music I have here? Could you give me some advice about better taking advantage of the site so I could sell a song quick. Thanks so much and I appreciate you taking the time to listen to my stuff. I am going to be releasing a single to my next EP soon and it should get some good buzz going. Talk to you soon Roy!
