With their unique combination of hard-driving, melodic riffs and lyrics, as well as 3-part harmonies, WYGANT began its journey in 2002 when 2 of its members were 12 & 13 years old. Jon and Andy set out to form a band that focused on original music that would bring a positive, and energetic sound to its listeners. With very few people knowing, Andy and Jon spent the next 4-years working on their musicianship, vocals, musical arrangements, lyrics, as well as their producing and engineering skills to bring them to the release of their first self-produced single "Satisfied in You" in November of 2006. WYGANT's second original, 'My Release', was released in January of 2007.

WYGANT Bio

Many other originals are in development with release dates planned throughout 2007. A full CD is expected to be completed by the fall of 2007. During this journey, and with parental support, Jon and Andy decided to go from traditional schooling to completing their high-school education through the Internet at an accredited online high school, which is also how they plan to complete their college education. This environment provides them with the flexibility to develop and engineer the original music & lyrics for WYGANT, as well as the ability to be on the road performing live shows. Over the last few years as Jon and Andy have developed their "live" show for WYGANT, they have been playing live in front of hundreds of students on a weekly basis as members of a church youth band. Although Andy wrote many of the bass riffs, and plays bass on WYGANT's recordings, WYGANT continues its search for a permanent bass player. In the meantime, sitting in as "guest" bassist is John Callon. John plays in the same youth band with Jon and Andy, and also joined them in a 2006 band competition where they scored well enough to be invited to perform live in front of thousands of students in Orlando, Florida. As WYGANT continues to develop their songs for their debut CD, the final touches are being put on their show in anticipation of performing live as WYGANT in the summer of 2007.
