I am Wim

This is going to be a short bio, because I haven`t been to long in this business. I have always been into music, but its only in these last couple of years I have tried to capture an audience for my music and submitted it online.

I was born in 1972 in Trondheim, Norway. An ancient city dating over 1000 years back, and it was in fact one of the greatest viking seats in Norway.

All I know about music I thought myself. In the 80s I started listening more and more to electronic artists such as Jean-Michel Jarre and Tangerine Dream, and they became my biggest influences as I eventually started to produce myself. I also had a great liking towards new age musicians such as Kitaro, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield so I guess you could also sense some of their feel in my music.

I like to look upon my music as a painting where my instruments are substitutes for various colours. I try to "paint" a romantic and wonderful soundscape that captures the listener, using dreamy sounds and tunes. Each song describing a different "landscape" of sound.

I do all composing, producing and mixing myself and I am a studio performer. However like every artist the dream is to play in front of a live crowd of dedicated fans.

Recently I Signed a deal with AD Music. A british label specializing in instrumental music. I signed a deal for one album. Its called The White Peak.
