Although Great Unknown is the debut album for Austin, TX Americana/Soul band The Watters, it is far from the first collaboration between Daniel & Jenna Watters. The first song sang together was Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" at their high school graduation in Sedona, AZ. They have been playing music together now for 11 years, writing together for 8 years and have collaborated on six albums together. They toured extensively throughout the country as "The Oak Creek Band" during their tenures in Denver and Nashville before relocating to Austin in February 2015 and changing their band name. The Watters recorded their debut full-length album Great Unknown at Cacophony Recorders studio in Austin, Texas in December, and self-released it on July 1st, 2016.
