My friend, Greg Besece, (Poppa Grump Band) wrote the song for his friend, Greg Pratti. The 2 men grew up in Wheeling, WV, and were friends. Greg Pratti also helped with the music of the song. The Story behind song: Back in 1968, Greg Pratti saw a pretty girl standing in a line at a carnival. They met, dated, fell in love, and were going to get married, but Greg got drafted. She married someone else. He married twice... 50 years later (2018) both of them were single again. They found each other on Facebook, arranged to meet for a dinner date, rekindled their love for each other, and married. Now, in 2023, they have been happily married for the last 5 years. This song tells their story. The video illustrates the lyrics.
