I am a songwriter, primarily a lyricist. I have been inspired since I was a baby by my parent's songwriting and since I was in grade school by my sister, Jullianne Buccino's songwriting skills. Then, I married my songwriter husband, Christopher DeMaria, (Julianne's Co-writer) in 2000. I guess after a life of being around the craft of songwriting in all genres and writing my own poetry, I was bound to catch the bug. I co-wrote a few songs here and there over the years with my family mentors. In the last few years, I have really picked up the pace and began writing as often as I can. I co-wrote a song as a fundraiser and I even had my shot at singing in a cover band for a year. Music just seems to set my soul on fire! Now, I can't wait for the next song to be recording and just keep going. Of course, living with a husband that is an amazing musician, writer, and singer really helps.
