An electric violinist, songwriter, programmer, producer. I began playing the violin at age 5 and at the age of 13 was already breaking with tradition and inventing new ways of playing an age old instrument. Having always been inspired by the great electric guitarists, it was while I was in high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts that I began in earnest to learn the language of guitar voicings and mannerisms that would become the basis for a new style of electric violin playing. I worked for many years as a full time violinist for a professional orchestra. Now, here I am in the electric world I dreamed of.
