At 12 I discovered the name Taupin on an Elton album, then I found out about Hal David, George David Weiss and how Lennon and McCartney did their thing and I was hooked.

While I have always appreciated great musicians I new performance wasn't my gift but I new I could contribute to the process but for years thought poetry and lyrics were the same thing and I floundered.

When I eventually learned about the differences things changed quickly and I have been blessed to work some of my heroes and have been honored to be invited into their circle.
