TIM BEHRENS (singer/songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist)

Tim has been a singer/songwriter for the last 11 years. Using finger-style melodic rhythms and spiritually driven lyrics, his music often deals with the underlying themes in day to day life.

Tim's performance experience comes from six years in an improvisational blues rock band and solo acoustic shows in small clubs and coffee shops. He still performs, but has recently turned his attention to songwriting and recording. Tim's goal is to delve into many different genres, from film to television to professionally recording and promoting an album of his own.

Tim has been involved in much collaboration and is currently working with KC lyricist, Al Samuel, mixing folk guitar with soulful R&B influenced melodies. Tim has contributed to soundtracks for a local film-maker, has used his web design/digital art skills to support other musicians, and spends his free time learning new instruments (most recently the Nigerian Ibo drum)
