About The Band
The Worry Beads are a four-piece Manchester band whose music defies easy categorisation. Grounded in an explosive mix of Rock and Blues, The Worry Beads also fuse the very faintest touches of Country, Latin and Folk to create a sound unlike anything else.
Formed originally as a studio project in the autumn of 2006, The Worry Beads have drawn on over 60 years combined experience to craft a selection of truly memorable songs that you'll still be humming days after you first heard them.
The strength of the band's original material is amply showcased in their recently released 4 track EP "In Good Time" (mastered by Andy Jackson - Pink Floyd's engineer) and the band are due back in the studio in late 2008 to record their first album for release in April 2009.
With over 1000 gigs under their collective belts, you'd expect the band to be good live. And they are, with their blistering live performances already garnering critical acclaim.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our shows.
