“A cocktail of rock, punk, metal and psych-pop.” - Performer Magazine, Mar. 2006
The Radishes are a San Francisco/Los Angeles based band with a sound that has been described as Nirvana meets Motorhead. Other influences include such high-energy units as The White Stripes, The Stooges, The Pixies, The Hives, Artic Monkeys, Flipper, and NIN, with hooky, angular guitar lines, ferocious vocals, relentless drumming, and a unique, darkly ironic approach to songwriting.
The Radishes are comprised essentially of multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and writer Paul Stinson (SF) and producer, multi-instrumentalist and general wunderkind Scrote (L.A.). For the new CD “Good Machine” (due out in summer ’06), The Radishes teamed up with famed drummer Earl Harvin (Berlin). Both Radishes CDs were mixed by legendary engineer Mark Needham (known most recently for his work with The Killers) in Hollywood, CA.
