The Prox-e consists of two individuals originating from diverse cultural/social backgrounds, yet some how commonalities exist between them. Both members are influenced by both literature and cinematic inventions, thus perpetuating The Prox-e's musical inspirations and visionary ideas.

The Prox-e formed in May 2006. Spending a better amount of a year in a home studio, Luis Castro and Chris Lunsford-Gutierrez experimented with a vast array of instruments. Unwilling to settle for a spefic genre they molded their influences often creating a combination of sounds that provided The Prox-e with its unique style.
