What happens when you invite 15 or so friends over, ply them with food, drink, and drink, and then tell them to sing and play Christmas songs?

The cold December winds were howling about. Dr. Mistletoe shivered, cursed the cold, and threw another yule log onto the fire. He'd been working for months on a formula; an equation that would capture the spirit of the holiday. Just then, an idea struck him...why not try by recording a holiday album?
The project would be simple: Attempt to capture the spirit of the holiday season on tape, while communicatiing the energy, cheer, and general goodwill of all that is ChristmasTime. While Dr. Mistletoe operated the console, colleagues would provide the instruments, voices, and the good cheer....the group would be known collectively as, The Happy Holiday Orchestra.
Dr. Mistletoe realized the scale of the project, but with less than two in busy, busy late December... such a time-line would require special measures. First takes; no second chances. Things had better go smoothly. There was so much to do to prepare!
With that in mind, Dr. Mistletoe had no time to waste...he rushed off to the kitchen to whip up a batch of eggnog!
