"The Freak and The Crow" is a Country Hip Hop duo from East Texas.
As the producer and singer, Daniel Minter, "The Freak," is influenced by many genres of music.
"I grew up listening to Garth, George, Hank, all of 'em" said Minter. "..but on guitar I've always loved playing more punk rock and metal. Mixing genres has always been fun for me. I take my favorite aspects of all of the music I listen to and try to blend them together."

Minter and Derek Crowell "The Crow" met in college in 2011. They started the Christian Hip Hop ministry "Holy Hustlas" and shared the same mentor, Fred Lynch, founding member of PID. "I grew up listening to the greats. Tupac, Twista, Nas, Eminem, there are too many to name" said Crowell. "I like the ability to switch lanes and show diversity. I love all music"

The Freak and The Crow will plans to release their Debut EP towards the end of 2016. Their first single 'Backwoods' is available now.
