Tim Byrd

A musician in his own right, Tim has worked as a songwriter/producer for artists such as Boyz II Men, Aaliyah, Dave Hollister, Nicole Wray and Outsiderz 4 Life. He's also co-produced a song "Who R U" (Outsiderz 4 Life) with groundbreaking producer Timbaland that showed up in an episode of "Smallville" that airs in the European market. He's also managed to have one of his songs "Not Enough" licensed to appear behind an episode of "MTV Cribs" in 2000. Tim contributes to some of the music production and songwriting for TAVA Entertainment and is steadily finding new ways to bridge the gap between independent music and other businesses in need of their music.

Aaron met Tim in 1989 when he and some friends formed a singing group (Sudden Impact). A chance meeting with Michael Bivens (New Edition, BBD and founder of Boy II Men) landed his group in Boyz II Men's "Motown Philly" video. The group secured a major record deal with Capitol Records in 1990 and enlisted Tim to produce the music. Several songs and a couple of name changes later, the group disbanded in 1997. Aaron decided to take time to learn the industry and write songs for his solo project and other artists. In 2005, he released his first solo project under Invigorator Recordz, LLC titled "Gotta Love". The single, by the same name, entered Billboard Magazine's singles sales charts at #8 and reached #7. October 2006, he appeared on BET's 106th & Park (Wil' Out Wednesdays) and performed a song written by him and produced by Tim Byrd and Brian Branch called "That's Hot". Aaron continued to write songs and released another solo EP in 2007 called "Here What I'm Sayin'". Now with TAVA Entertainment formed, he recognizes that music fans not only listened to "industry music", they still searched for new music from independent artists to add to their collection. He will now find other artists to perform songs he's written and work hard to make sure that the independent artist has a link to music listeners.
