Female Singer/Songwriter, Does a little bit of pop/r&b/ hip-hop etc... I hope you like it.. (your comments are important)..
I have had so many influences, vocally I would have to say Teena Marie, Denice Williams, Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams, Patti Label, and more. I thank God for my experiences with different genres of music. There is nothing like singing to HIM! That is the ultimate. I love to hear good praise & worship, gospel hip hop, r & b gospel, traditional gospel. I love it all. It inspires me to continue to write and sing to my King Jesus!
Sounds Like I have been told I sound like some very beautiful and talented women. I can only hope to attain what God has for me. I am honored when people tell me I sound like Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams, or Denice Williams. They are all wonderful artists in their own rights. I have studied them all, but I believe God has given me my own unique sound. You judge for yourself. Here is my new Debut CD "Don't Turn Your Back On God
"Don't Turn Your Back on God."
Kia "Talein" DeJan, the Angelic Song Bird, is soaring to new heights with her Debut CD, "Don't Turn Your Back on God." This CD, provides the listener with thought-provoking lyrics, energy and emotion, was co-written by La-Tina Smith and Talein and produced by Jamar DeJan. Everytime we, have a conversation with God, another song is born and the awesome vision of our ministry continues to be revealed. We pray that the powerful messages ministered in our songs will have a positive impact on the lives of people of all ages worldwide.
The first single released from this project is "ABSTINENCE". An electrifying song that encourages teens and singles to hold out until marriage and divorcees and widowers to refrain, abstain so they can live to love again! The course is set - we are on a mission. The choice is simple, choose ABSTINENCE. It's the safest way to go and the only thing that makes sense. It has a two-fold purpose--save yourself and save your soul! Brothers and Sisters it's time to take a stand--be smart, be strong, and come with us on a mission to promote ABSTINENCE. You have the power! Put on the whole amour of God and join the battle--fornication, promiscuity, and the lust demon vs. purity, celibacy, and self-control. God is leading the battle and he is looking for soldiers to join the army of righteous believers who are seeking the kingdom of heaven. The bible says:
"Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetessness, which is idolitry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you once walked when you lived in them" Colossians 3:5-7
The bible further says: Let marriage be held in honor amoung all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the immoral and adulterous. Hebrews 13:4 rsv
