Now 6 or 7 songs into their 2nd album, SUBROC have done what they’ve always done. They’ve changed their style again. Constantly re-inventing themselves over the last six years the band’s new sound is more real, more live and stripped down. Gone are the 12 piece orchestras of Starlight and the Trumpets of Not In My Name and the bongos in Pickpocket. The new songs are very much back to basics with devastating effect. The singer, the guitarist, the bassist and Charlos. The band have matured and endured a whole lot of shit. Musically they’ve found a place they are all happy in, enjoying what they do. It’s not about being famous anymore. It’s about four guys who like being in a band.
