Stelios Pissis was born in Cyprus. At the age of 5 he was already a self taught pianist but his life turned around when doctors had found that he suffered from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
10 years old Stelios was already using a wheelchair but this never stopping him to study music.
From 1990 he starts to compose music and in 1997 his first cd called "Psifides" was out.
In 1999 with the Symphonic Orchestra of Kremlin he records his second cd with the title"Ypervasi".
The last years, his illness got worse and now he is on the bed 24 hours per day with a respirator. But he continues composing on the computer only with the mouse.
June 2005 a third cd arose out called "Kastalias kai Seirinon".
In November 2006 the Symphonic Orchestra of Cyprus presents Stelios music during a concert in Nicosia (Cyprus).
In 2007, Stelios cooperated with the script writer Giorgos Tsiakkas, composing the soundtrack of the TV series "Mila mou" for which wrote also the theme song, sang by Antonis Remos.
