I am breaking up with my partner in a small city park in Belfast. I describe the sounds i can hear. Internally i am stressed. I am reflecting my childhood growing up in violence in West Belfast in the height of the Troubles.

A dramatic and intense reflection of life continuing as normal in a violent city. Pounding instrumentation and realistic lyrics paint a vivid picture of normality. Belfast was an intense place when i grew up. We internalise the stress of violence. In life moments as an Adult the internalised stresses from childhood rise to the surface and make adult stresses seem more difficult. This song is about the life that goes on in a park in a moment where a couple have decided to part ways. A inner city break up song with intense instrumentation and sentiment.
