Story Behind The Song
Fed up with the commercial aspect of christmas\??? Yes - I wrote a song about that!
Song Description
The cheeky Bv's love box sets of Dr Who but they are kind of not really wanting christmas. The groan we all experience when we see the first add of the season. Its a kind of if you can't get out of it you have to get into it - feeling. The song is also a comment on the comericailism of christmas which taps into lots of peoples resistance to the stereo typical notion of the holiday that is commercially portrayed. This is over pinned by a couple trying to have a stereo typical romantic walk in the snow - of course they drive to their destination. It sounds quite complex when you analyse it. Better just give it a whirl and appreciate the FUN in the lyrics and production

Lyrics
We were going out for a walk
so we jumped into the van
with our hats and scarfs
and snow boots on

well he took me by the hand
and i whispered in her ear
a proposal is the sweetist thing
at this time of year
he said its a
great place for a nuclear power station
we should build one here here here
and we could celebrate
christmas
christmas
every day of the year
(ch bvs
