Lyrics

There's a ghost from a dream that haunts me
Whispers tales of my youth
To taunt me along
Who chides with song

What might of been
In colored lights of fame
You will never know

Notes brought from the past
Yet in your last refrain
Passages that echo
Cannot last

Shall we dance the dance of regret and wait mournfully with sighs
Pay the boatman place the coins upon my eyes
As there is no second chance to go back and to right the wrong
Penance due and penance paid is sometimes blurred beyond the light of truth

There's a ghost from a dream that haunts me
He's my guide as I play
This journey of notes
To learn by rote

So I go on
Continue with this ruse
You will never know

Ghost and I agreed
I'm left alone again
Silence dwarves the shadows
In my mind

Shall we dance the dance of regret and wait mournfully with sighs
Pay the boatman place the coins upon my eyes
As there is no second chance to go back and to right the wrong
Penance due and penance paid is sometimes blurred beyond the light of truth

There's a ghost from a dream that haunts me
Acts the role of my muse
To taunt me along
Who chides with song

Really nice acoustic guitar at the opening. The heavy verb on the subsequent parts create a deep spatial vibe. As the tune moves along, it explores a sort of classical/baroque type of style; then moving through various "scenes" the deep verb guitar returns. Nice and interesting piece.

Excellent presentation, fresh and distinct seduction of the ears.

Really beautiful, exotic music....somewhat Spanish, somewhat classical, and somewhat pop.....gorgeous!! The lyrics are really interesting....so sad, and so poetic! Is there going to be a vocal? Even spoken word could be cool!

This is a beautiful tune. I can hear this is film soundtrack.
I think the notes and tune that are played are right on target. I love the melody, and it brings a softness to the piece.

Very nice strings in the beginning. Reminds me of a movie beginning, perhaps situated in Italy somewhere. Soothing tone on those string and nice synth background in parts.

I like the melody very much. The Spanish guitar is very beautiful. Superb guitarist.
