The song is gathering clues to a murder committed, and the aftermath of a terrible act by one who is compelled by voices in their head, it is unsavoury subject matter, but such things happen, all around us, and unfortunately, because such grisly actions are reported on the news so frequently, compassion and shock fatigue easily settles in to all our mindsets. But what motivates such an act??? what drives these people to do unspeakable things?
