Story Behind The Song
Trip to the west coast during a time of crisis. I found peace, serenity, inspiration, and my spirit by sitting at Big Sur and soaking up the sea through my body and spirit. This feeling stayed with me for months afterward, which ultimately led me to the song with a simple guitar chordal pattern and melodic hook.
Song Description

Lyrics
SEA LEVEL, WALKING ON THE COASTLINE
SEA LEVEL, WALKING IN THE SUNSHINE
The Sound of the coast
I can hear it now
The rocks will catch each wave
Each wave will slap the shore
Sunset beautiful, can you see
It can last forever,
The sun goes beneath the sea
No architecture, no hills to climb
Or to block my vision,
I can see just fine
No valleys to descend,
It's as low as it goes
No potholes to trip on,
Only sand in my toes
CHORUS
Been making a living,
Living only half a life
Always racing with time,
Need to take the time to find
To the sea to touch the magic,
No need to toast this time
Take it easy, it's so breezy,
Feeling fine
CHORUS
Ocean spirit moment,
our time together's come
The air, the sand, the waves,
We're becoming one
I sit in your cove,
I can feel your roar
Your gentle timeless motion,
watch your seagull soar
I'm part of you now,
As I sit in the sand
Let me take you home,
I got your shell in my hand
CHORUS 2X
