Story Behind The Song
I was cooking burritos for dinner one night. I put mine on my plate and went back to the stove to fix another. Each time I delivered one to the table to the three boys, I took another bite of mine. They eat fast and so about the time I got the third one on a plate the first one wanted another. When I finally sat down my burrito was gone. I said, "who ate my burrito?" They died laughing because I had eaten it and didn't even realize it. They started calling me Patrick, because there is an episode of Sponge Bob where Patrick does the same thing with a chocolate bar, accusing Sponge Bob of eating it. I didn't figure a song about a burrito would work so I just turned it into whiskey and wrote this song that night. All I had to do is move my pen and grab my guitar. Wrote this one in five minutes, but it works and I love the song. My kids still laugh every time they hear the song.

Lyrics
WELL I WALKED AWAY
AND IT WASN?T FOR LONG
JUST TURNED AROUND
AND IT WAS GONE
I DON?T REMEMBER THE FIRST DRINK
I DON?T REMEMBER THE LAST
I JUST KNOW THAT BOTTLE GOT EMPTY
A LITTLE TOO FAST
CHORUS
WHO?S BEEN DRINKING MY WHISKEY
WELL THERE?S NEVER ENOUGH
TO GET ME THROUGH THE TIMES
WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH
I?VE BEEN SHORTED AGAIN
I THINK IT?S PLAIN TO SEE
THEY DIDN?T PUT ENOUGH WHISKEY IN THE BOTTLE
TO SATISFY ME
I CAN?T SHARE WITH YOU
CAUSE IT?S ALL I GOT
ONE MINUTE IT?S FULL
AND THE NEXT IT?S NOT
I DON?T WANT TO DRINK CHEAP WINE
I DON?T WANT TO DRINK GIN
I JUST WANT TO DRINK WHISKEY
BUT IT?S GONE AGAIN
CHORUS
WELL I KNOW ITS NOT ME
I DON?T THINK IT?S YOU
BUT IT?S ALWAYS GONE
BEFORE I GET THROUGH
I THINK THE BOTTLE IS SMALLER
AND IT?S THE SIZE THAT COUNTS
I PAID MY HARD EARNED MONEY
FOR EVERY LAST OUNCE
CHORUS
