Song Description
After visiting several countries over the years I realized that a lot of very people I was traveling and touring with had no real love for a lot of these impoverished 3rd world countries and were only selling lip service.
So my response was to write this as an invitation to get us back to a place of genuine concern for people in places like North Korea, Romania, and here in America in Appalachia.

Lyrics
Where The Angels Never go
I see the landscape changing,
and the lines are always blurred
you know I could never ever trust the light
to shine where the thunder is always heard--so
Who is going down with me
to the town that love forgets
where the children have no refuge
at least none has been found there yet
where the sun is always fading
and the flowers never grow never grow
hope has never visited there yall
that's where the angels never go
So who will come and go with me
To a place no joy is found
where the citizens suffer constantly
and you know deppression there abounds
the streets are always filled with broken spirits
and the lamps fueled with their shame
you know the lampmen always ridicule
those nameless by their names by their name
Where the day is marked by dark of night
the light is shades of cold
And the people see no charity yall
not where the angels never go
there is nothing more devestating
as a walk into the sun
you find yourself blinded by the light
and your work is undone
and your work is undone
yeah your work is undone
