Story Behind The Song
Well, I had just purchased this great Marshall plexi, put good tubes in it, also had my friends twelve string accoustic, so I decided to record one day. I had been messin around with this riff and song for a while, I recorded a few songs that day, but this one I really was into. I added lyrics and vocals to it a while later. There was a thought that I wouldn't be able to match vocals with the song, 'cause when I recorded the music, I didn't think about how many times every verse would go or anything, kinda improvised it. Later the vocals fit; on the second verse though, it goes one more time at the end of the verse, so I just sang the same lyric twice. Worked better that way, majic happens. Also, with all musicians ego aside......"Intuitive improvisation is the secret to genius" forgot who said that, but it's true.
Song Description
I recorded the music first on this song, in attempts to make a bunch of insrumental songs....but, I just had to put lyrics to it. I love this song, hope you dig it as well. I didn't know who to put as similar artist.....dunno who it reminds me of.

Lyrics
Heaven's on it's way
so they say
but if you want to stay
hey man that's okay
that's okay
If you want to die
tell me another lie
if you want to let go
listen to your soul
listen to your soul
The Wize Man sees
troubled by his dreams
into the deep un-known
their he throws his stone
The Wize Man sees
troubled by his dreams
into the deep un-known
their he throws his stone
Heaven's on it's way
well hurray
well hurray
hey man, that's okay
