Story Behind The Song
I could have brought in a good guitarist to play the solo that I instead play on my red Gibson Les Paul, but I did not. It does not matter to me that it is slow handed and not all that great. It is what it is, and I play the solo within my own limitations.

Lyrics
Flora, you know I had to do a foolish thing like this... cryin' in the darkness, pen and paper at my finger tips...the truth comes to bear, against the odds I'd ever see your face again, unless illuminated bright, on one lovely night, by blue moon's light...sometimes a soul can't seem to find no freedom from the blues...another year a no show, never gonna see this whole thing through...Flora, I know the sun is gonna shine again, but darling, I just can't say when, you were more than a friend, sha la la la la la la la la la...(guitar solo)...About 3:00 am, another crazy dream came into sight, walkin' in the blue moon's light we stopped and held each other so tight...the high tide's water, became the low before you let me go, and all of that sorrow inside, it all washed to sea, clean from you and me...the stars refused to shine a ray of hope on our last night, lookin' in your eyes, knew I'd have to wait for the blue moon's light.. Flora! I know the sun is gonna shine again, good Lord darling! I just can't say when!, you were more than a friend, sha la la la la la la la la la...
