Story Behind The Song

My father had Alzheimer's and was homeless on the streets of Los Angeles for five years. In spite of his faults, I learned from him. Heroes are not perfect and don't have to be.

Man encounters homeless person who he realizes is a future version of himself. His future self warns him to change or his lot will be his destiny.
