Story Behind The Song

Sharing an oldie but goodie here ... A cover of this song I wrote was featured on a bunch of soap operas and a feature film in the early 2000s. The cover was by Brett Walker, a hit artist with the Capitol Records band Alias in the early 90s. I'll post his version later and you tell me which you prefer. I was surprised by people's preference on this before.This cut was made on a cheap $16-bit 600 Roland digital recording deck in my closet in my apartment. I played all the instruments and synth and drum programming and sang lead vocals with Steve Heiss (co-writer and background vocals).
