He was born around 1880, that was long ago.
He was tall in the saddle, down in Mexico.
He wore 2 banderoles, strapped across his back.
And a tall high sombrero, that had a cold blood red strap.
He had two, 6 shooters hanging on his side.
He could shoot a man dead, with his evil eye.
Women unlocked theirs doors, but Men ran away.
When they heard the Bandito, was headed their way.
(Chorus)
He was a rebel, a rustler, a Robin Hood, a folk hero to some
He was a butcher, a leader, a bandito all rolled into one.
Down in Mexico he's a hero
But in the USA he's the Bandito.
They rode into Columbus and burned it to the ground, Today if you travel to New Mexico it's nowhere to be found.
He stopped the North West Railway and filled the air with lead.
After all was said and done, 18 Texans laid there dead.
(Chorus)
The federal Arles chassed south, across the Rio Grand
Hunting the bandito, in his native land.
But one day he road to Parral, where assaissins lay in wait.
That was the day the Bandito, Met his final fate.
(Chorus) (Chorus)
