Steve Argereow started playing guitar at the age of 5, and by the age of 13 was playing in Rock Bands in the Central New England area. He has opened for notable acts like the Kingston Trio and the Shaw Brothers (I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing). Steve has had 3 number one songs on Broadjam Top Ten Charts as well as numerous song's in multiple genre: Bluegrass, New Age, Rock, and Country in the Top Ten Charts.
He is a fingerstyle guitarist, who also plays keyboards and 5 string banjo. Steve is comfortable in Classic Lite Rock, Country, Jazz and Pop genre's. His Influences are; Chet Atkins, Earl Kluge, and Tommy Emmanuel.
Steve has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and attended graduate school (Liberal Arts) at Harvard University.
Steve currently plays in the North Carolina area as a solo act.

He is a fingerstyle guitarist who also plays keyboards and 5 string banjo. Steve is comfortable in Easy Listening Rock, Classic Country, Jazz and Pop genre's. His Influences are; Chet Atkins, Earl Kluge, and Tommy Emmanuel.
Steve has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering,and attended graduate school (Liberal Arts) at Harvard University. He is a retired US Army Reserve Officer who is a Vietnam era Veteran and a Desert Storm Veteran.
Steve currently plays in the Sandhills of North Carolina area as a solo act. He played for 10 seasons every weekend at the Pinehurst (Golf) Resort.
Steve is also an avid Astrophotographer and a member of the "Charlottle Amateur Astronomy Club". His astronomy pictures can be viewed on Astrobin.
LIVE PERFORMANCES
Steve Argereow Performs live with up to 2 "state of the art" Bose L1 systems or the Bose S1for smaller venues. He uses backing tracks which he has recorded in his home recording studio. SONAR Loops provide the drum beat. However, Steve plays all other parts the; Bass Guitar, 2nd Rhythm Guitar, Keyboard, and all background vocals. Then at live performances, sings the main Vocal and plays 1st Rhythum Guitar and Lead. The result is a 5+ piece band with 3 part harmony, with strings in the background.
This is applied to Easy listening 70's Acoustic Rock, (Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, the Eagles). Classic Country (Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell), 50's Rock (Elvis, Bobby Darin, Ricky Nelson) and even 40's era hits like "Chattanooga Choo Choo" or "Don't Fence Me In".
In addition he is a Acoustic Instrumental Guitarist who can execute an entire performance Solo Instrumentally, (Classical Gas, Freight Train) if required.

Steve will be at the Lake House this season (most Thursday nights) with limited capacity
due to NC Covid-19 rules. Also, Steve will be at Belle Meade's Tally Ho Pub on Tuesdays in 2022.
