This Tune is in Standard Tuning, Capo 3rd fret. Key of D. I was watching Tommy Emmanuel play is beautiful song "Angelina" I experimented with some of the chords he used in that song and "leaving Home" almost instantly came out. Note: you would never figure this out listening to both tunes.
Song Description
The song represent's my feelings of "Leaving Home". The scope ranges from: Leaving for service in (Operation Desert Storm) to leaving school, and jobs that I have worked at for long periods of time. Finally, Home's that we (Claudia and I) have lived in and regions of the country left behind. Most of all family, friends and relationships who have helped me become the person I am today!
