Story Behind The Song

I have always loved The Beatles and Brian Wilson's music. I have put all of the things that Brian likes to put in his songs in this song. There are serious vocals, a prominent piano part, strings, and even vibes and an oboe. But the message is hope and good feelings, singing and playing music keeps me alive and happy. Music is my medicine- and as Frank Zappa said music is the only religion that delivers. I only wish I could get this song to Brian Wilson- I know he would get it and understand.

Song Description

I hate the concept of a tribute. so I wrote this song as a thank you to John, Paul, and Brian. It's the sum total of melody , harmony and lyric that I hear in their music. The vocals are killer and the chorus is catchy. It was not written for the MTV crowd but it might be for everybody else.
