Required listening for the world-especially U.S.
The forceful vocal at times remind me of Creed. Heartfelt lyrics.
Some artists have the most believable, inspiring voices...this is one of those. It's a song of hope written for a dark time. A positive message of reconciliation and forgiveness. A reality check at the same time. The ending is an amazing piece of writing. This is my favorite line: "For all the scars that apologies just can't erase". Love the piano playing and simple production. Love the hook "light a candle for my brothers and me". Impeccably clear vocals and pronunciation, a refreshing listen.
Very nice I listened twice - I would prefer a Chorus using the Hook line - problem is the song is soulful with powerful lyrics but musically kinda flat needs a chorus
