Renfield's Dream


Locked away in my cell, wake me if I'm dreaming
Voices cry in the night, will I wake up screaming?
I saw her there, in the fog something moving in my room
red glowing eyes, dressed in white, blood dripping from my wounds.


With the wave of her hand she parted the fog and I could see
a million rats covered the floor and danced about her feet.

then she pulls me down the darkness gleams

her tarted dress and raven hair, her face haunts me still
locked away in my cell obsession rules supreme
shadows crawl across the page, lost in Renfield's Dream.
