Hey John thanks so much for the stars on "Couger" It's an old one of mine but I never recorded it outside of the band I was in at the time. Thanks again my friend. Scott
You're much welcome! Your songwriting has always been great and it has also grown with you life's experiences. You put forth real life and real feelings and that's what sets the true artist apart from the rest. Yep, I have several old ones that have finally made an appearance recently, too.

Hi Scott--you're welcome, I enjoy your songs. Thanks also for listening to my latest and the stars. Have a great weekend. :-) Jeana P
Hey John thanks so much for the stars for "The Pit" truly a work in progress. I only released this little snippet for my Fiverr account it an attempt to get some attention. haha. Thanks again John and much more to come. PS it works so well with the video...
You're much welcome, Scott. It's a cool piece. I took a guess it's an evolving piece. It's somewhat like a very dark instrumental I wrote called, "The Dark Shore," which was going to be for a film my older brother never made about a woman's body being found at night on a coastal beach. I never quite finished the piece and it needs a lot more instrumentation.
OH that sounds interesting John. Yes the song actually has lyrics and a melody once I get into it. More to come as Johnny Carson would say. haha
Thanks for the 5-Stars for "Flying My Pyramid"..... Glad you liked it! Chester
Hey Chet enjoyed the listen, thanks for sharing. Scott
Hey John thanks so much for the shout out! You're the man! Make sure you listen to John's song "Down East in a Harbor Town" for an authentic feel of what it's like to live in a harbor town in the good old USA.
You're very welcome, Scott! I have so little news about myself that I thought I could make things more interesting by changing it weekly with news of what I find with my friends. I think it also makes people wonder what the hell I'm going to talk about next. Your FiveRR page is very good for everyone who stops by to know about. I hope it will bring one, two, hopefully more, people to your page.
Me too John I really do appreciate it very much my friend.
Warren I'm totally with you my friend. I stopped paying long ago however I do hope to stay in touch with you and others form BJ because I feel I have made some great friends and mentors through this site. You, John and others have made me so much better at what I do and for that I'm thankful. Positive things have happened here, so there's that. haha
Yes Scott you are correct, and I suppose like one of my songs says, "when god shines his big flashlight, if not half bad I'll be half right..." there's been some positive things here...and I've appreciated you and many more over the years. May dog speed! W
I think when it comes to money you have to treat each album like a business investment. Reserve for the primo membership, reserve for the album getting shopped, and when it's done it's done... back to the free membership we go. Plenty of great things have happened here and well continue to happen surely. The community is solid (most days) and the talent is seeping from its walls. Well worth your time to be a member if you have any love for your craft. Just save the investments for when you're ready. Harness your work, conclude an album, pour over it a thousand times... and then? You're ready to spend a grand. Vi
Hey John thanks so much for stopping by with some stars. "No Blue Song" was recorded with the last band that I was in with some amazing players and a great man at the production and recording controls. In fact he liked the song so much that he added a little bit of himself to it by putting in an amazing little lead guitar at the very end just after the last chorus. haha. Jack Chesterfield another friend gone way to early. Thanks again my friend. Scott
Hey, Scott. I could easily tell that was your band and a heck of a good time! You guys played it with energy and spirit. Terrific stuff and a great song from you! The lead guitar was an amazing touch. Your friend, John
Thanks again John, I was re-listening to your wonderful song "Down East in a Harbor Town" as it's one of my favorites by you and had to add it my play list. What a great song and so perfectly done. Great emotion and feel. Scott
Wow, thank you, Scott! It was the third of a trio of songs I wrote in just a few months in 1977 that were inspired from taking my VW bus across the country in 1976. "Sunny Sunday" was first. "We Didn't Have Enough" was next. Then "Down East in a Harbor Town." "Down East in a Harbor Town" is Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Squirrel Island, is three miles offshore. The girl, Joan, is someone I had a crush on in junior high school. She hated my guts, but the name was good! It was December when I drove out to Spruce Point and looked across the bay at the island. I had just driven up there from Bard College where I visited long time friend, Russ Shane, and had an extremely short affair with a girl, Sheilla, which became "We Didn't Have Time Enough."
Yes John, there's just something about living next to a large body of water, whether it the ocean or the one of the great lakes, as I did, that just seems to get in your blood. There's a certain feeling you get after while that is difficult to explain but your song "Harbor Town" really captures that feeling just as "Edmond Fitzgerald" did. Not easy to capture an emotion like that but you pulled off perfectly.
Hey Arden thanks so much for the listen and the stars for "The Picture" Long history with that one as it's the first real song I ever wrote. haha Thanks again my friend and best of luck with the album release. Scott
