Hi Ravensong,
I've been reviewing a few catalogs on Broadjam, and your name came up in that process.
I work closely with artists on the sync side, specifically identifying what's actually holding strong records back from being considered for placements.
I'd like to take one of your tracks through a Sync-Ready Audit.
That means looking beyond the music itself and into the details that supervisors quietly filter for metadata structure, registration alignment, and overall pitch readiness. Just a clear breakdown of where your track stands and what could make it more placement-ready.

If you're open to it, send me a link to the track you'd want reviewed: wuradigitals@gmail.com
Best regards,

Hey, Scott. The first four measures (the opening guitar riff that repeats itself through the song) is a great hook. It's still in my head. The melody line goes into some new very well written arrangements I haven't heard from you and that's impressive, too! Younger people may see it as deep and philosophical but now that we're at our age, we know what this is about! Hahaha! Kudos for a well written song. John

haha you're right John. I struggled so hard with this Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber tariffed for two weeks that I had to get it out of me somehow so this song was born. I finally resigned myself to it with the help of certain claiming drugs. haha Two hours a day 5 days a week for 40 days at least and I still might lose my foot damn. Sorry for not texting you sooner but my mind has just been racing. I'm going to have to fix the mix and some of the lyric on the first verse and the chamber makes my ear pop like crazy so hearing isn't up to suff for sure.
Thanks so much for listen the comments and the stars my friend.

My pleasure, Scott, and I would love to see your vinyl record make sales. I'm almost through with my mix. My current mix is from five years ago, all muddy and too much reverb, when I didn't know how to mix and tried to get by with cheap online mastering websites. I've started over and cleaned it up a lot. Heck, my drum was off a bit, too!

Hey John and Robert thanks so much for the stars on "Travelers in Time" and "I can play the blues forever" You guys Rock!!!

I normally wouldn't disagree with the 'Nip because he's an excellent songwriter and I enjoy his music. My take on "Travelers in Time" is that it doesn't need a break at all. The immediate switch from remembering the past then moving to the present feels like a very natural way to think and it flows well with the song. I'd keep it the way it is.

Thanks for input John I feel the same way because the transition works so well and the song is a bit to long as it is. I've been getting some very nice comments on this song which always makes me feel good.

Xolani I want to thank you for your very wonderful review of my song "Travelers in Time" how refreshing it is to hear some real insight. Very few people on Broadjam actually listen to the music for what it is but rather what they would have it be. An insightful review such as yours is truly hard to come by. Again thank you so much as it made my day sir.

Hi Scott--
"Travelers in Time" has a sweet, nostalgic feel. It's a perfect folk tune, with your guitar and clean melody. I like the doubled voice in the chorus. Well done! :-)
Thanks for the Christmas wishes. It was a nice Christmas, but over in a hurry. How was yours?

Excellent comments on your latest news. There really is a point where a review is no longer a review but a moral criticism, personal in nature, that has nothing to do with the creativity that made the music. Several great songs have been accused of breaching the conservative moral compass that were simply songs about life: "Draggin' the Line," "A Horse With No Name," "There She Goes," are a few accused of glorifying drugs but had nothing to do with it. Great songs are stories about life's experiences, the celebration of life, the struggles life, the human experience.

Hey, Scott. Thanks much for the stars on "I'm Not Coming Back." You're the only one who has listened to it. It's the lift I needed. Things have changed so much on BJ. It took about a month with the vocalist because, though her bluesy vocal was great for lounge or blues, it pushed the notes, so I asked for a pop vocal that would hit the notes and gave some examples. She did a very good job of that. Then I chose some parts out of the bluesy vocals to put in because I liked the emphasis. Now I'm cautiously looking for two vocalists for "All the Reasons Why"...again, courtesy of the scammer at FiveRR! That's the song I'd really like to get out. I just don't want to get scammed out of money again. AI gives a new meaning to Money for Nothing! "Circles" and "Blood Witch" are just stunning! "Circles" has an incredibly great melody and the story line is great fun that matches! That's the kind of "great song" that should hit the Billboard top 10. Probably would have easily back in the Kasey Casem top 40 days.
Best to you, my friend! John

Hey John, yea I know what you mean about BJ it's just not what is used to be that's for sure. "I'm not coming back" is a great bouncy tune with some excellent bluesy vocals. The added embellished vocals really make it pop. I'm thinking we should just abandon the duet idea and just go with the one vocal as it would simplify everything. Thanks so much I'm really happy with the way "Circles" came out now to figure out what to do with it. haha. Good luck in your search my friend.

Hi Scott--Thanks for listening to "I'll Never Forget You" and "Floating" and the stars. I always appreciate your support and input as a musician. As for your latest news, just keep making music how you intend it to be. I've had my share of critiques that I didn't enjoy, but after so many years I just go with my gut and not worry too much if my music is liked or not.

Hey Jeana thanks so much. It wasn't the review that was the problem it was a personal attack against me as she thought it promoted drug use and I was leading the children astray. She then suggested that I find God to ride myself of this evil. That's the problem. Thanks for being a great friend.

Hey John thanks so much for the great review of "Circles" my friend. Reviews like yours are hard to come by and always refreshing to read. I'm considering a vocalist for this one but the cost is a problem however we shall see. haha

The cost is always the problem. But now scamming is a big problem. Robert Quigley and I look for good reputable vocalists who are cheap. If I come across one who really does the job, I'll let you know right away. You're much welcome for the review. I do everything to call it out like it is. The one thing really missing from reviewers I've read is that they can't get past production to really hear the base words and music. I'd rather write great songs than to be any good at being a producer!

"Circles" is a great song, Scott! The lilting melody and guitar riffs have more hooks than a tackle shop! Lyrically FUN! Really fits the Jamaican influenced mood of the tune. It's one of those catchy fun tunes that I just have to play again and again!
