Story Behind The Song

On one level, this is a song about unrequited love, but look a little deeper. Actually inspired by the generosity of the women in my life and the warm hospitality of my Scottish cousins, I pay tribute here to all the women who have sacrificed so much in their struggle for equality, yet remain so caring of others.
