After two bars I heard the B-52's - always fun and interesting lyrics with a pop beat that you don't take too seriously and just listen for fun. The song is cool because it has a bouncy pop style that is unabashed (we're having fun here, so step aside cause we are enjoying it either way), and has clever lyrics that are both silly (when I get the flu-I can't hold my food... heads are gonna roll, etc), and based on biblical truth at the same time. I like all that. If the B-52's found God they would write a song like this. Guitar is SUPERB. Very nice musicianship throughout really. Can't tell if anything is MIDI on first listen which is nice. Overall this seems to be a song for kids, but it has a quality that makes it more palatable for a larger range of listeners, especially because of the performance. It is a fun song for the kids, so well done for that!
Nice dobro work here. Adds a funky quality.
Growing up in Baptist churches, I heard (and sang) quite a few songs like this one, but I think there is something a little more unique to it and that there's clearly a lot of love put into the lyrics and instrumentation. For its audience, I think this will be a really good fit and has some really memorable moments throughout.
Great song for a kids album.
i like the message ok. really good for the childrens to know about this. positive message.
I really like the drums and the lead guitar. This song has a really good beat as well.
I recognized this artist, which means she's definitely got her own sound. That's a feat rarely accomplished in today's music.
The talent of this artist is amazing. And the band is tight and professional.
Nice Dobro.Nice kids song
I agree with all the lyrics and I appreciate that you are not afraid to say the Name of Jesus. Very bold and yields enough faith and I like that.
