Story Behind The Song
I wrote this when I was still asleep, you know that twilight between consciousness and unconsciousness.. and in that state, I could see my work as "fields of roses" and when spoken or sung or shared in any way, they catch fire, so I said: they're burn ing sweet, then I thought of the words as I write them dripping from the tip of my pen like my own blood pouring forth, only I used rain falling as gently as love, seeing as how that is not as sticky to imagine. Anyway, the analogy rings perfectly...
Song Description
I write stuff like this all the time and the original idea was to use a few of them as bumpers between songs.. wel, Steve got inspired and put some instrumental mmusic behind me and voila, they all turned out beautifully, each more mature than the one before.

Lyrics
Sculpting words,
my fields of roses are burning sweet..
I touch paper,
love dripping from the tip of my pen..
Like rain falling,
rain that falls as gently as love..
Pouring forth,
sweet perfumes, pouring forth my soul..
